"I found Marco Bettencourt among the best real estate agents I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many. In my law practice, largely focusing on estate planning and administration, I am occasionally required to select an agent to market my client’s real estate. I do not make listings lightly, but carefully consider the person with whom I am dealing, assessing the character they exhibit, the knowledge of the industry they possess and whether they seem politely aggressive (a quality I find is most conducive to quick sales).
My experience with Marco exceeded the expectations that I had of him when we interviewed. The best part of the experience was that Marco did not wait after the listing to start getting people through the house. His sign went right up and I was getting calls within a few days. Marco was very thorough with running inquiries and offers by me. He was always respectful of the fact that I was (as usual) dealing with a family that had recently experienced a cathartic loss, all the while smoothly pressing forward with his job of getting the real estate liquidated.
Within a month of listing, as I recall, we had a qualified offer that was nearly at the listing price. (No small achievement in the present market.) Marco always followed up with the buyer, too, and we came away from the deal feeling well served.
